Man, my allergies have been beating me down something awful. It's been going on for about 2-3 weeks now so yesterday I finally got J to take me to see the doc. I got a big ol steroid shot in one hip and my tweaked-out allergy shot in the other. He also gave me a steroid nasal spray which seems to be helping a lot as well. I feel so much better. Now I'm feeling like a dumbass that I didn't go sooner.
I am a bit worried that the steroids may push me over the edge into mania. I just have to keep monitoring myself. Last night I was starting to feel a bit edgy so I went on ahead and took half a xanax just to be on the safe side. That would be the worst - to start slipping into mania as night is coming on, I'd never even notice. scary.
My birthday is coming up in a few days. I'm all excited because the in-laws always take us all out to eat wherever I want to go so it's off to Red Lobster we go again. Woohoo! I loves me some popcorn shrimp.
