my miscellaneous debris

 Well, since I promised and somebody actually asked… here are a few pics of my tattoo and the process.

 

 

 Here I am getting the stencil put on. That's my friend's hubby J.

 

 

 

 

 

   

 In this pic J has just finished doing the outline for my Celtic Tree of Life.

The linework hurt a lot.    It felt like he was cutting me with fire.

 

 

 

 

 

 J did the shading first in a dark blue and then filled the rest in with a lighter shade. Getting the color put on was waay less painful than the outline!

 

 

 

 

 Here is how it all turned out… Although you can't really see the shading in these pics you can see it on my skin. It really stands out on the top branches of the tree. I'll have to get some more current pics so y'all can see. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Even though it really hurt I want another. But this next one I want on my chest, on my sternum between my ribs. I have the feeling that it's going to hurt a lot more than this one on my thigh did….
